hey kitty cat

This past week Barbra, our beta fish took a swim down the toilet. I was actually surprised she lived for almost a year. We went to the pet store this weekend to purchase a new Barbra but instead got goldfish. They were 6 for $1, what a deal! So we brought 6 orange little fish home with us. And with in hours they all died. Eric told the girls they didn't need any more fish because they don't last. Ashtin said she wants to get a pet that lives forever. She quickly said she wanted to get a rat. GROSS. No rats, hamsters or rodent will ever live in our house. Luckily Eric was on my side with this one. Then she decided she wants to get a new baby kitten because I guess the cat we have now just isn't good enough. The cat that we have is 12 and she thinks a kitten would be perfect because it will live just as long or longer. Eric actually thought this was a good idea....I'll remind him of this when we have a crazy cat running around the house in the middle of the night scratching up all of our furniture.

So it appears that we are now in the market for a kitten, probably two kittens, both black. Hopefully, there will be some babies this summer at Grandma's house.
